HYDRACTRL
I've been a fan of Olivia Jack's Hydra ever since I got to know it. Hydractrl is a tool built around is as an open-souce alternative to Synesthesia
Working on the new audiovisual set for the D&LY, I was looking into integrating live generated visuals. Synesthesia had always been an option, but I didn't feel like forking over 400$ for it.
That's when it hit me. Hydra is in fact perfect for this. All it was lacking was a couple of features, I thought. As I had also been looking for a reason to explore what 'vibe-coding' was all about, this seemed like the perfect project.
Looking forward to find out what the VJ & Live Coding community think about it! Have ideas or questions or just want to get in touch, shoot me a message or find me on one of the platforms!
